My Mom

My mom died at 2 pm EDT today. She had been in the hospital for a few days with pneumonia but wasn’t responding to antibiotics. Maureen and Jane were with her as were my dad’s sister Verna and my cousin Derek.
I prepared an obituary for her today, but the funeral details are still being worked out so I didn’t include them here.

  2. Dear Katie,
We are sorry to learn of your mother”s death. Her passing is a great loss to you, Laurel, and Charlie, as well as to your sisters. Some time after the death of my own mother, I came across a line in a book I was reading that gave me some comfort. I hope it will do the same for you, “Death ends a life; it does not end a relationship.” Your Mom will always be your Mom.
    With our love and concern,
    Roberta and Ralph
